Welcome to the second in a series of “Great Fans” This week we have a young Rovers fan… Name: Lee Metcalfe From: Nelson Age: 10
Js: So Lee how did you get into supporting the Blues?
Lm: Mainly because my dad and my family support them so I have been brought up around Rovers fans.
Js: What has been the highlight about been a Rovers fan for you?
Lm: Even though I was only 5 I can still remember watching us win the premiership at anfield on the TV.
Js: Is it bad for you been a Rovers fan living as close to Burnley as you do?
Lm: Yes, I get a lot of stick and I often feel scared when I go out in my Rovers top.
Js: What other teams do you like apart from Rovers?
Lm: I like Torquay, as my uncle comes from there and I also like West Ham because my dad has a West Ham tattoo.
Js: What other grounds do you like apart from Ewood?
Lm: I like Old Trafford because it looks fantastic when it is packed out and everything is red.
Js: What about grounds you DON'T like?
Lm: Playmore…it is falling down, Torquay need a new ground quick.
Js: And finally Lee, how do you think Rovers will do next year?
Lm: I think we will just avoid relegation, as I don't think we have made enough signings this summer.
Js: Thanks Lee
