Amoruso Would Love Ibrox Return

The 33-year-old Italian defender, who has been plagued by injury since his move to Ewood Park from Ibrox in 2003, has said that he would gladly follow Barry Ferguson's decision to move back north-of-the-border.

"If Rangers need a centre-half, I would love to go," he told BBC One Scotland's Offside programme.

"I was hoping to move in January, because my situation is a bit complicated as I had an operation then the manager has not been using me.

"The problem is I am getting old and I am not sure Alex McLeish would like me there."
