Attwell from Warwickshire was last in charge of a game involving Blackburn in the early stages of last season when Rovers went to Aston Villa and managed to lose the game 3-1.
That afternoon Atwell showed three yellow cards, all going to Villa. By the end of said season he had shown 102 yellow cards and 6 red from a total of 32 games in all competitions.
This season Attwell has taken charge of 19 games so far and has issued 51 yellow cards and two red.
