Barcelona assistant coach Johan Neeskens has confirmed that his club are interested in signing Neill, who was linked with a move to Liverpool over the summer and who will be a free agent at the end of the season.
"Barca have signed some great defenders, but things can change in a year, and I know Frank Rijkaard is following the player very closely," Neeskens has said.
