The man in the news at the moment, Benni McCarthy, has returned to training as Blackburn prepare to take on Portsmouth in the Premier League this weekend.

The striker has been suffering with swine flu, a virus that has hit a few members of the squad including manager Sam Allardyce.

McCarthy was on Thursday recalled to the Bafana Bafana squad for upcoming friendlies against Japan and Jamaica.
