Berg Praises Impact Man Josh King

The on loan Manchester United starlet started the game from on the bench, but when he took to the field to replace Morten Gamst Pedersen on 55 minutes, he helped turn the game in Rovers' favour.

Before his introduction, Rovers looked out of sorts and could easily have found themselves a goal or two down had it not been for good saves from Paul Robinson, but it was a different story after King was given the chance to show what he could do.

Speaking to the club's official website, Berg said:  "Josh, when he came on, made a very good impact.

"He gave us a bit more attacking options, a bit more offensive play and (is) also someone who can take on and go past players.

"I think he had an impact in his first home game (against Millwall) as well when he came on, he did really well getting into great positions.

"He's strong, he's physical, he's got good technique and against Burnley his passing was good as well.

"It's good for him to make that impact because he really changed the game a little bit for us."
