Brighton V Blackburn at Amex Stadium - Match Preview

Buckley added to Brighton's list

Will Buckley is injury-hit Brighton's latest casualty ahead of the visit of Blackburn.

Buckley tweaked his hamstring at Doncaster last Saturday and although the problem is not serious he has been ruled out of Saturday's game.

The winger is added to a lengthy injury list which also includes Andrea Orlandi, Will Hoskins, Kazenga LuaLua (all knee), Liam Bridcutt (hernia), Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles), Kemy Agustien (hamstring) and Leonardo Ulloa (foot).

But right-back Bruno Saltor is expected to be available despite coming off against Doncaster with concussion.

Blackburn's longest-serving player David Dunn is in line for his first appearance since August.

The Rovers skipper had a knee operation after scoring in a 4-1 win over Bolton, arguably the best performance from Gary Bowyer's men this term, and has been eased back slowly over recent weeks.

There is more good news in defence as Grant Hanley can be selected again following a three-match ban and Matt Killgallon (hip) is considered to be fine, although full-back Tommy Spurr (ankle) will be monitored nearer to kick-off and striker DJ Campbell is again banned.

Experienced midfielder Dickson Etuhu (knee) is another step nearer a comeback after playing 90 minutes for the Under-21s in midweek while playmaker Ruben Rochina (shoulder), back in full training on Thursday, could return after the international break.
