Brown Pens New Deal

Welsh goalkeeper Brown put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the club until 2011.

Signed from Gillingham in 2006, Brown has only made one league appearance for Rovers, coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 defeat of Wigan last season, saving a penalty in the dying moments.

Despite a lack of first team action, Brad Friedel's understudy has decided to remain at the club and fight for a place in the team. He will no doubt be Friedel's successor when he decides to retire.
