Birmingham City striker Clinton Morrison has urged Welsh midfielder Robbie Savage to stay with the midlands club.
Savage, who has hinted he will leave the club during the January transfer window, has attracted attention from Rovers and high-flying Everton. The Welshman has been linked to a reunion with his previous national manager, Mark Hughes, who left his post earlier this year to take charge at Rovers. The hard-tackling midfielder is likely to cost the club in the region of £2million, but his current team-mates are urging him to stay. Morrison said earlier, "Robbie is a key part of this team - he's a cracking player and motivates the rest of us to perform."
