Craig Short is hopeful of returning to The Rovers squad for the game against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

The veteran centre-back was forced to sit-out last weekends game against Manchester Utd after picking up a thigh injury during training in the days leading up to the game at Ewood Park but hopes to return to Graeme Souness' squad for the game at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
