Defender Signing Completed

The 32-year-old Holland international centre-back has completed an estimated £2million move from PSV Eindhoven and has signed a two-year deal at Ewood Park.

"When a club like Blackburn comes in for you, it was a simple choice for me," he said.

"I heard a lot from other players that Blackburn was a warm club, it sounded like my former club PSV."
