The fixtures for next season have now been announced by the Premier League. We can now tell you that Rovers season will kick off on Saturday 17th August in a home game against Sunderland.
This will then be followed by an away game on the following Saturday when Rovers will play Birmingham City on the 24th.
Other games which may be of interest are the matches being played over the Christmas 2002 period . Rovers will play Manchester United at home on the Saturday 21st December. An away game against Liverpool will follow on Boxing Day.
The last game of this year will be against West Ham on Saturday 28th just a few days before Rovers bring in the New Year with a Wednesday clash against Middlesborough at home on the 1st day of 2003...
