The Serie A side had been linked with a £20million swoop for Dunn over the weekend but the club has strongly denied the stories.

"If there have been secret talks, they have certainly not involved us," said a club spokesman.

"Regarding Damien, we have had no contact with Inter Milan or any other club for that matter."
