Foggy and Hignett speed away with the cup and training equipment

The 32-year-old has just gone on loan to Coventry, having made his debut in the victory over Rotherham on Saturday.

But the former Middlesbrough man knows that when he returns in three month’s time, his future will lie away from Rovers.

“I definitely don’t think I have a future at Blackburn,” he said. “The manager has made it clear he’ll let me go.

“But we haven’t fallen out, it’s just that he ignores me and I ignore him.

“It didn’t matter how well I was doing, I wasn’t going to get into the team – and that was the frustrating part.

“Going on loan doesn’t suit me or Blackburn but it gets me back playing and puts me in the shop window.”
