But he's just another name plucked out of thin air according to our friends at Blackpool, fans and blog writers both ask the question why would Holloway come to Rovers?
He is at the club that he loves, he has no problems with the owners and he lives in the area.
And he can't be guaranteed that at Ewood Park at the moment under the current ownership.
Even Rovers fans can see that this one is a non-starter.
