Hughes Happy With A Point

Rovers picked up their first away point of the season at The Reebok and could easily have gained all three with their second half performance.

"When you come to Bolton you've got to stand up physically and mentally and I thought we did that and had answers for all the questions they posed," Hughes said after the 0-0 draw.

"In fact I thought in the second half that there was every chance that we would go on and win it although a point here is never a bad result. A lot of big clubs come to Bolton and don't manage that.

"It took a good save to deny Steven Reid and I was very pleased with the performances of both David Bentley and Zurab Khizanishvili who both equipped themselves very well and looked like they had been part of the squad for some time."
