Ipswich Up Jeffers Bid

The Championship side have already had one bid turned down for the Rovers striker, who spent the final few months of last season on loan at Portman Road.

Ipswich chairman David Sheepshanks told the East Anglian Daily Times: "We are still very keen to sign Francis Jeffers and we have made a second offer to Blackburn Rovers.

"We are now awaiting their response."
