Rovers now sit just two points away from the bottom three and nothing we have seen today at Everton suggests that we will be putting up a fight against going down, all looks lost as far as the team are concerned, they have no fight left in them it seems under the current manager.

Today’s pathetic display means that Kean has not won a game in nine matches, a run that stretches back to December.

The Rovers boss said: "I don't think it was a worrying performance.

"The overall performance was of two totally different halves.

"We were by far the better in the first and they were the better in the second.

"I think whoever was going to get the first goal today was always going to be in the box seat.

"That fell to Everton today and that was disappointing."
