Schalke striker Kevin Kuranyi has been linked with a move to Blackburn Rovers should Roque Santa Cruz leave.

Paraguay international Santa Cruz just can't stop attracting bids from Manchester City while Tottenham are keeping an eye on things, but so far Rovers have resisted their offers.

Rovers boss Sam Allardyce does not want to sell Santa Cruz, but is believed to have been keeping tabs on Kuranyi as a potential replacement.
