Mahon set for Ipswich return

Mahon is to receive treatment for the injury at Ewood Park before reurning to Joe Royle's side to complete his three month loan deal with the First Division promotion hopefuls.

"This suits all parties. It will mean better value for money for this club, because we will get more games out of him," Ipswich boss Joe Royle said.

Meanwhile Rovers pair Jonathan Douglas and Neil Danns are set to return to the club after loan deals at second division Blackpool.
