MGP Confident Things Can Be Put Right

The 7-1 reverse did nothing to help Rovers’ goal difference and left them next to bottom of the table again although not yet adrift from the pack.

The sad thing is the team were just beginning to show that somehow they might have been able to escape the drop under Steve Kean after results picked up slightly, but last weekend proved beyond doubt that the current set up cannot deal with a side who are better than them. (The game at United was just luck).

But Pedersen believes that Rovers can get themselves sorted out in time to make up the three points they are behind and then move away from the danger zone.

He said to Sky Sports: "It's no secret we are struggling in the league.

"But we have to keep the focus in the right place or this is going to be difficult.

"We all feel exactly the same about the Arsenal game. We went through it on the training ground and we are not happy.

"Now it is much better to start the focus on the QPR game this weekend."
