Paul Robinson's hopes of a World Cup recall were given a blow on Tuesday when Rovers announced that he would be out of action for at least a month.

A calf injury forced the 30 year old out of the 3-1 defeat at White Hart Lane at the weekend.

The 30-year-old, who has won 41 caps, was last included in an England squad in October but has not played under manager Fabio Capello.

"It looks like we'll be without Paul for up to four weeks," manager Sam Allardyce told the club website
