Neill Recieved Death Threats

The Australian international right-back was sent-off for the tackle during the game between the two sides last September which put the England international out of action for four months.

"I didn't mean to break his leg," Neill told TNT magazine. "I just went in hard for a tackle.

"I went into the dressing room and shook his hand, and thought that was the end of it. Unfortunately, the managers started going at it, and my name was all through the papers.

"I got a few death threats. I had my mail intercepted for a while. It wasn't too enjoyable."
