The Rovers boss was not pleased with the 34 year old after he returned from Holland late and missed a day’s training in the build up to the game with Portsmouth.
The Dutch star had gone back home for a few days after Rovers went down 3-1 at Manchester City, a game in which Ooijer was not at his best to put it mildly.
But his late return upset Allardyce, who docked his wages and also left him out of Saturday's 2-0 win over Pompey at Ewood Park.
Ooijer is due to quit Rovers at the end of the season when his contract expires, his likely destination is PSV.
