Glasgow Rangers appear to have made their final offer for Rovers midfielder Barry Ferguson.
Rovers rejected a bid that would have totalled £4million for the Scotland international from his his former club earlier today (Thursday) and the Scottish side say they will not be increasing their offer for the player.A statement on the official Rangers website reads: "Rangers Football Club can confirm that a further increased offer was made today to Blackburn Rovers to acquire the registration of Barry Ferguson.
"Our £4 million offer was rejected and negotiations will proceed no further after Blackburn Rovers made it clear they would only accept a transfer fee of £6 million.
"Rangers Football Club is disappointed as we believe this offer to be substantial."
