Hignett has recently been linked with Crewe while Wolves are said to have showed serious interest in Curtis.

Rovers have said, however, that the do not wish to make any changes to the squad, whether it be permenant or temorary, in the light of their currently progressing Premiership Battle.

Rovers Chief Exec. John Williams said today: "There have been tentative enquiries from one or two clubs about taking Craig Hignett on loan. However, at this stage of the season we are not prepared to release any players as we concentrate on the task ahead."
