Rovers Looking at Two More Possible Signings

Both Vogel and Fortune are experienced midfielders but Hughes says he is going to take his time to think about any possible move.

"It's more with a view to next season in fairness," Hughes told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"It would be difficult for them to come in and make an immediate impact at Premier League level, particularly now at the business end of the season, but that option is still open to us.

"If I feel there is a deal to be done, which would allow them to participate from now until the end of the season, then we will do that.

"But in both cases, this is more to do with planning for next season."

Vogel is 31 tomorrow and has 94 caps for Switzerland. He is looking to get his career back on track after a terrible spell with Real Betis in Spain. The midfield anchorman has previously played for clubs like AC Milan and PSV Eindhoven.

Rovers have been looking for midfielders since the departure of Robbie Savage.
