Rovers open new campaign away at Everton

All initial dates are subject to change by Sky and the Premier League but the fixture publication shows Rovers starting away at Everton on Saturday August 16th. The season ends on Sunday May 24th, 2009 with a home game against West Brom.

In between other interesting fixtures are the visit of Mark Hughes and his Man City side to Ewood Park on Sunday December 28th and a trek for the supporters on Boxing Day to Sunderland.

The first home game of the season is against newly promoted Hull City on Saturday August 23rd.
