Rovers take Thomas Kahlenberg on trial

The Denmark international has been suspended by the German side's manager Pierre Littbarski, who has accused him of lacking focus.

After being told to find a new club for next season, Kahlenberg has pitched up at Ewood Park in an attempt to impress manager Steve Kean.

Kahlenberg worked with Rovers assistant manager John Jensen at Brondby and it was the Dane who invited the midfielder on trial.

Wolfsburg paid £3million for the former Auxerre man and will want to recoup most of their money if he heads to Rovers. The attacking midfielder has 35 international caps.
