Santa Cruz injury not too serious

The Paraguay striker had to go off just after scoring Rovers' second goal with a hamstring injury.

There were initial fears that he would be out of the opening game with Everton after tweaking a hamstring.

Ince revealed to Sky Sports News: "Roque's fine. He got a knock on his Achilles.

"I had my heart in my mouth for a minute sat up there in the directors' box

"I've had a chat with the physio and it's going to be two or three days, but he'll be ready come the start of the campaign.

"Roque's 19 goals were very important for us in how well we did last year. He's fine and he's all geared for the start of the new season."
