Souness: Convinced of a win?

Whilst they will be playing on home turf, the Rovers team will be missing skipper Garry Flitcroft and defender Martin Taylor, both of them being out of action due to injuries. R.O.I. star Damien Duff is expected to be back on the pitch after missing the 1-1 Premiership draw against Southampton.

Souness is thought to believe that strikers Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole will play a fair role in Rovers effort to win tonight's game.

Souness said: "Our strengths are going forward and going after teams and we will try and do. I have got good players, I have honest players.

"We will try and play the same way as we did in Glasgow. But I expect a very different game. I expect Celtic to try and stop it being a game like it was first time round.

"I expect us to be aggressive going forward and hopefully aggressive when we are defending...

"I can't see us having that much of the ball again as we did at Parkhead and not doing anything with it. We controlled the game for a ridiculous amount of time.

"We lost 1-0 but we think we are in a great position to go through and that's our aim."
