Pained: Jansen
The leading Rovers scorer has needed pain-killing injections to combat the problems arising from the hernia - the root of the problem - before games. Despite the pain, he has decided not to go under the knife until Rovers are safe.

He said: "I've had the problem for three months or so, and I've been having a jab before games.

"The specialist says it's a hernia and that I need to have an operation.

"I will carry on until we are safe before I have that though - I can still play with it, it just gets more painful as the game wears on."
