The Rovers defender was dismissed in the final minute of the game by referee Alan Wiley for what was deemed a late tackle on Pompey's debutant striker Kanu.
However, following Rovers' decision to appeal the red card an FA independent disciplinary commission have reversed the decision and Todd Will therefore not face any suspension.
