Former Rovers player Paul Dickov has stepped in for the highly talented 19 year old as he strengthens his side for the run in.
Lowe has made two appearances in the Rovers first team, one against QPR in the FA Cup and one against Chelsea in the Barclays Premier League.
He has also featured for England under 20s.
