Last updated : 12 November 2010 By Andy

The last time Marriner took charge of a Rovers game was on the 17th April last season when Rovers went down 3-2 at home to Everton, five yellow cards were shown in that game.

So far this season, Marriner has taken charge of 12 games, shown 41 yellow cards and sent one player off.

Earlier this term he took charge of the Charity Shield game between Chelsea and Man United at Wembley and more recently he was in the news for not sending off Gary Neville at Stoke when United won there 2-1.

Assisting Marriner for this weekend’s game will be Ron Ganfield and Andy Newbold while the fourth official will be Dean Whitestone
